Description
The flat plate batteries produced under the Hi-Power Alight series are aimed for inverter applications. Rated at C20 capacity these batteries are highly reliable having long life cycles. Our flat plate range of batteries is designed & proven to be leak proof, abuse resistant and have low self discharge characteristic.
The grids are made up of special grade of low antimony alloy to minimize the topping up frequency. The thicker positive and negative plates are designed with high active material ratio to give extended life and performance.
Glass mat PE separators are used which prevent material shedding at high temperatures. They are of very low electrical resistance and highly resistant to oxidizing atmosphere.
The batteries are provided with Micro porous Ceramic Aqua trap cum float level indicator plugs, which allow generated gases to escape and traps water particles, returning the major portion to the electrolyte. This reduces the frequency of topping up. With proper voltage control, the frequency of topping up will be once in 3 to 4 months.
We offer batteries that are produced and tested in our fully equipped test house at our R&D Centre. These batteries feature heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant alloy for positive grids, to increase cyclic life.
